Beware is a young adult romance-thriller filled with humor, danger and the intoxicating passion of first love.

Tylor Lisette had never imagined that she might not live to see her sixteenth birthday. But first love, a cruel sister, and malicious creatures seemed intent on destroying her.

As soon as I saw the sculptures that my partner Steven Smeltzer created, I knew their story, and my novel, The Dark Side of Cloning: Beware, began its journey. As the story progressed, I realized that Beware would be the first of three books. I’m currently working on book two. When I’m not writing, I find myself missing the characters chatting away in my mind. Quite often I’m surprised by what they say, but over time I’ve learned to trust them and write down what they dictate to me.
