Day 34 – Earth Day, Maui Hawaii

Where did all the hippies go?          :) Well, now you know.

I’m too young to be a hippy. (I’m not being funny, it’s true.) But I’m grateful that I live in a place where what you eat is more important that what you wear, and many of the people live with consideration for The Seventh Generation.

It was a lovely Earth Day event, mellow & educational, good music, healthy food, a beautiful sunny day. Couldn’t get Steven to dance, but I bopped around next to him. (No, didn’t get that on camera.)

There were booths to learn about how to live on earth and how to die with grace, what the gov is spraying in to our atmosphere, as well as how to save the whales & dolphins.

Several years ago our friend Aaron Mayville came to visit, he had a sticker that said precycle. I love that concept even more than recycle…though alas, I am better at the latter.

And now, back to the grind. See you next week!

Sites to check out:

The Seventh Generation - one of many sites about The Seventh Generation. In a nutshell, they are about getting our heads out of the ground and learning what we need to do so future generations will have a planet to live on.

The Death Store

The Death Store                                I know, no one wants to talk about it, but there’s no way of getting out of dying, so why not do it with consciousness.
